Fashion designer Christopher Raeburn was born on August 13, 1982, in Kent, England. He grew up in the Kent countryside with his brother, Graham Raeburn (currently Ralpha's chief product designer). After graduating from the Royal Air Force Academy, he enrolled at the Royal College of Art, completing his master's degree in 2006. He founded his own brand in 2008 and released a collection featuring remade military materials, such as uniforms and parachute fabric. His pieces, based on the concept of "REMADE IN ENGLAND," were made entirely from recycled materials and produced in the UK. Following the release of his collection, Raeburn received acclaim in the UK. In February 2010, he received sponsorship from the British Fashion Council's "NEW GEN" program, which supports young designers. In 2011, he was named the most successful menswear designer in the British fashion industry.
In addition, for the 2011-2012 AW collection, he presented the capsule collection "REMADE IN SWITZERLAND" with Swiss knife manufacturer VICTORINOX. Due to this connection, he was appointed Artistic Director of Victorinox's fashion division in 2013. For the 2012-2013 AW collection, he also served as designer for MONCLER R.
In March 2013, he exhibited his 2013-2014 AW collection at the apparel exhibition "Wear Europe" held in Tokyo. For the 2015 SS collection, he presented pieces with an air force motif, incorporating military colors such as khaki, orange, black, and gray.
