Apparel brand Salon de Balcony will release a collaboration item with director Philippe Garrel's film "Jealousy." The lineup includes three-quarter-length T-shirts (white and gray, ¥6,800 each) featuring scenes from the film, and short-sleeved T-shirts (white, gray, and black, ¥5,800 each) featuring the film's title. The items are scheduled for release at the end of September. "Jealousy" is the latest work by Philippe Garrel, the filmmaker known for such films as "The Guitar Isn't Here Anymore" and "The Lost Revolution." The film depicts, in black and white, the madness of a couple who fall in love, get married, and divorce repeatedly. The film tells the story of Maurice Garrel, who appeared in most of Philippe's films from his debut onward, when he was 30 years old, and stars his son, Louis Garrel. The film will be released at Theater Image Forum in Shibuya, Tokyo, from September.
