"The Man Who Creates Fashion - Karl Lagerfeld" collaborates with Pass the Baton

Oct 29, 2013

To celebrate the Japanese release of Karl Lagerfeld's documentary film, "The Man Who Created Fashion" (distributed by Arcineteran), select recycle shop PASS THE BATON is holding a special event from November 1st to 30th.

A limited edition design of PASS THE BATON's popular "Paint Over Bag" is on sale. Each bag is a one-of-a-kind item, with a new design added over a used shopping bag. The price is 1,470 yen, but if you bring a movie ticket stub, you can get a special price.

In addition, during this period, the first 25 pairs (50 people) who sell or purchase Chloe, Chanel, Fendi, or Karl Lagerfeld products at the Marunouchi or Omotesando stores will receive a free movie ticket. "Karl Lagerfeld: The Man Behind the Fashion Show" is a documentary that closely follows Karl's work and private life. It was directed and written by Rodolphe Marconi, who also worked on "This Is Me." With over 200 hours of camera time over two years, the film captures rare glimpses of his work, including photo shoots with celebrities like Nicole Kidman, behind-the-scenes footage of the intense fashion shows, and the process of designing dresses. It will be released in cinemas nationwide from November 16th, including Cinemart Shinjuku and Human Trust Cinema Yurakucho.
