Designer Masanori Morikawa's Christian Dada made his Paris debut with his Spring/Summer 2015 collection. The venue was a garage on Rue de Lubec in the 16th arrondissement.
With pink accents like cherry blossom prints and fetishistic chaps, the collection was all black, showcasing a powerful rock aesthetic while showcasing couture-like, delicate details.
Elaborate pieces, including embroidered metal parts and frequent use of zippers, were eye-catching. A feminine bustier-style top, which seemed to blur the boundaries between men's and women's styles, also made a strong impression.
Several women's looks were also presented, with full-scale launch planned for the Autumn/Winter 2015-16 collection.
