Espace Louis Vuitton will host the collaborative project "IN SITU-1" in three locations: Paris, Tokyo, and Munich. In a first-of-its-kind atelier-style venue, three internationally renowned female artists will be free to create works, allowing visitors to witness the entire creative process, from inspiration to completion. How each space will be transformed is entirely up to the individual, and each artist will literally start from a blank page. This exhibition expresses the innovative art form being promoted by Espace Louis Vuitton. Louis Vuitton Chairman and CEO Michael Burke said, "The unwavering passion for creation, which has always been at the heart of the brand, inspired me to consider how new work can take shape and how that process can be shared." Korean artist Min-Jeong Seo will be working on a project at Espace Louis Vuitton Tokyo, which opens on September 13th. Known for her poetic portrayals of concepts of time, the transience of life, and uncertainty, the type of world she will be expressing this time has not yet been revealed. The Paris exhibition, running from June 4th to January 4th, will feature American artist Andrea Bowers, who is based in Los Angeles, while the Munich exhibition, running from September 18th to January 18th, will feature Malaysian artist Simryn Gill, who splits her time between Sydney and Malaysia. These are Min-Jeong and Gill's first large-scale solo exhibitions in Japan and Germany, respectively. During the exhibition period, various events, including art talks and workshops for children and students, will be planned to deepen understanding of the artists' worldviews and share their creative experiences. A special corner within the venue will also be set up to allow visitors to observe the creation of works from other venues.
