United Arrows introduced a new "Size Check" feature on its official online store on November 19th, allowing customers to compare the size of previously purchased clothing. The service, developed through a collaboration between Virtusize and United Arrows, is a unique extension of Virtusize's online fitting solution, "Size Check." The service allows customers to compare sizes while shopping by overlaying illustrations of previously purchased clothing with illustrations of currently available clothing. To use the service, simply click the "Size Check" button on each product's detail page and select the item you want to compare from a selection of previously purchased items. The two illustrations are then displayed overlapping, allowing customers to visually check for size discrepancies. Even with previously purchased items, customers can manually register their sizes to compare. This reduces the risk of purchasing the wrong size, a major obstacle in e-commerce, and aims to reduce the current 7% return rate to 5%.

The company plans to continue developing this feature to be more functional, including a system that displays only items that fit the user, with the goal of completing it within the next year. It also intends to expand the list of registered items beyond the current range of clothing, shoes, and bags, depending on user needs. One example of future use cases being considered is Urban Research's 3D virtual try-on service in stores. In the future, the company plans to further strengthen its integration with physical stores, similar to the service launched in March 2014 that allows users to schedule a try-on session at a store via their online store.

Virtual Size was founded in Sweden in 2011. Soon after, the "Check Size" feature was introduced to 40 major e-commerce sites, primarily in Europe and Asia, including ASOS in the UK, Zalora in Southeast Asia, and Jabon in India. In Japan, the feature is also used by MAGASEEK, MIX.Tokyo, and Dinos Cecile.
