Hiromi Yoshida was born in Tokyo on August 26, 1941. Her real name is Hiromi Yoshida.
In 1960, she graduated from high school and studied fashion illustration at the Setsu Mode Seminar. She also honed her clothing craftsmanship at her mother's haute couture boutique, Setsu. After graduating, she moved to France in 1965. She became the first Japanese person to join Givenchy. Her design skills were recognized, and she received a seven-year work permit from the company. She became a second, assisting the atelier chief, and was in charge of Audrey Hepburn and other celebrity clients.
In 1968, she was recommended by a stylist at Harper's Bazaar to travel to the United States. She spent a year in New York honing her coordination skills, but returned to Japan the following year. She began her career as an haute couture designer at her mother's boutique, Setsu, and released her debut collection, the Yoshida Hiromi Spring/Summer Haute Couture Collection, in 1971. The following year, he launched his ready-to-wear brand "IGREG." In 1978, he became a member of the group "TD6" (short for TOP DESIGNER 6), which was formed in 1974, and presented his 14th 1978-1979 AW collection.

At the same time as founding Yoshida Hiromi Design International Co., Ltd., he launched the ready-to-wear women's brand "CLOVE vs CLOVES" in 1980. Building on these activities, he was involved in the founding of the Council of Tokyo Fashion Designers (CFD) in 1985 and became a member.

In 1992, he participated in the Nagoya International Shibori Festival and presented the "HIROMI YOSHIDA" 1992-1993 AW ready-to-wear couture collection. That same year, he was appointed director of the Japan Uniform Center Foundation. In 2001, he designed the uniforms for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' Fire Department, and the following year, he was responsible for the designs of JR East's women's uniforms (female conductors and View Plaza). In recognition of these achievements, he began teaching at Showa Women's University in 1997, serving as a lecturer in the Department of Lifestyle Aesthetics (now the Department of Living Environment Design Course), and served as a visiting professor there for four years from 1999. Since that year, he has participated annually in the Universal Wear Show, organized by the Japan Uniform Center Foundation. In 2006, he participated in the planning and development of the security concept "Uniform & Universal Wear" and was responsible for designing uniforms for the Japan Post Group. He also continues his own creative endeavors, presenting his 2008 Spring/Summer and 2008-2009 Autumn/Winter collections in runway format. He has subsequently presented collections in exhibition format at his own company and at the joint exhibition "rooms LINK." In 2009, he opened his first exclusive shop, "House of HIROMI YOSHIDA," in Minami-Azabu, Minato Ward.

On October 23rd, 2013, a limited-time shop was opened in the Authentic Gallery on the 4th floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku during ISETAN MITSUKOSHI DESIGN WEEK 2013, which was held at three of Isetan Mitsukoshi's main stores.
