SPJ, a manufacturer and retailer of baby-related products, is releasing the luxury stroller "Mediterranean."
With a focus on luxury baby products, the company spent four years perfecting this stroller, focused on both design and functionality. The brand name, which translates to "Mediterranean," is also the main theme of the design. The concept is to provide babies with "rich sensitivity" and "comfortable riding," and parents with "excellent design" and "full functionality."
One of the attractions of the Mediterranean stroller is that it is also a visual treat. European-designed fabrics are used, allowing customers to choose the design for the sunshade and seat just like choosing an outfit. The fabric is also sewn with the utmost care, with each stroller meticulously crafted by Japanese artisans, down to the delicate curves and fine details of the parts, for a comfortable ride. The handlebars and underside of the seat are made of thick genuine leather, ensuring a comfortable feel for babies.
Meanwhile, in terms of functionality, the stroller uses compact 6-inch air tires in the front and larger 7-inch air tires in the rear, ensuring stability. Its unique design ensures a comfortable ride. The footwell has a retractable flap, which, when combined with the reclining function, creates a fully flat seat. This is designed to allow the baby to lie flat even when they fall asleep. The stroller also stands upright even when folded, making storage easy. Not only is it easy to fold, but it can also be pulled with one hand, making it easy to move when putting the baby down.
It comes in five colors, including "Mayaro Pink" and "Lemongrass Green." It costs 139,000 yen. It will be available at Mitsukoshi Isetan Group stores nationwide from September 10th.
