Italian shoe brand Aquazzura will be releasing a shoe collection in collaboration with Olivia Palermo.
Olivia, a popular socialite, is a fashion icon for the brand and has been a fan since the brand's launch in 2012. Her favorite shoes have been featured as essential pieces in her wardrobe.
Aquazzura was launched in 2011 by designer Edgardo Osorio, who previously worked for Salvatore Ferragamo and Roberto Cavalli. The brand's comfortable shoes, with delicate, feminine shapes, are crafted by skilled Florentine artisans. The collaborative collection combines Aqua Azzurra's traditional craftsmanship with Olivia's undeniable fashion sense, resulting in unique designs that suit a variety of occasions. Olivia calls the collection the "Survival Bag," implying, "With this, you can survive!" The lineup includes three styles, including sandals and boots. The jeweled sandals (205,200 yen) feature luxurious jewels adorned in a necklace-like pattern. The metallic sandals (87,480 yen) have a design that beautifully accentuates the feet. The short boots (115,560 yen) are made of suede. The collection is sold exclusively by one company in each of 12 countries. In Japan, the collection will be available exclusively at Strasburgo, a select shop that carries European and American brands, from September.
