JIMMY CHOO is selling its new shoe line, "CHOO.08°," at a pop-up store in the West Park/Promotion section on the third floor of the main building at Isetan Shinjuku until July 15th.
CHOO.08° is a shoe series debuting alongside the 2014 Pre-Fall collection. The concept is "beautiful shoes that match the ever-changing lifestyles of modern women, allowing you to run around all day while still maintaining a feminine touch."
The new series is being introduced at the venue under the title "Biker Collection," featuring an assortment of mannish designs that complement motorcycle styles, including leopard and python prints and engineer boots. Prices include biker boots (108,000 to 162,000 yen), flats (59,000 to 78,000 yen), and sneakers (52,000 to 86,000 yen).
The buyer in charge said, "This season we have a range of pumps and boots that are feminine but have a somewhat masculine design. The fact that they are not typical of Jimmy Choo is seen as fresh and has been well received by customers. The pumps "GALA" (72,000 yen) are selling well. The gold color of the shoes gives off an elegant feel, while the slender, pointed design all the way to the toe gives it a sharp, masculine feel. Additionally, the leather ankle boots "MARLIN" (118,000 yen) maintain the feminine silhouette that is typical of Jimmy Choo, but are characterized by their stable heel height and ease of movement, making them popular with office ladies. This time, we are seeing movement in shoes that combine these different elements."
