Saint Frère, which handles brands like Andrea Incontri and MYSUELLY., has acquired the domestic import and sales rights for the Italian fashion brand Fay, which is making its Japanese debut. Sales will begin in Spring/Summer 2015 with shop-in-shops in one store each in Tokyo and Osaka. From Autumn/Winter 2015-16, the brand will be available in major department stores, commercial facilities, and major specialty stores in cities across the country. Sales are expected to reach 800 million yen in the first year on a retail basis for both men's and women's wear, with sales of 1.3 billion yen in fiscal 2016 and 2 billion yen in fiscal 2017. A flagship store is also scheduled to open in Tokyo in fiscal 2017. Fay is targeted at men and women in their 40s who love Italian fashion and live in urban areas. Fay is a brand under the Tod's umbrella, founded by the company in the 1980s. It offers a wide range of products, including men's and women's wear and accessories. In 2011, Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi, the duo AQUILANO RIMONDI, were appointed creative directors. They have presented their collections at Milan Fashion Week.
