Itochu to begin exclusive import and sales of Les Hommes from Spring/Summer 2015

Jul 25, 2014

ITOCHU Corporation has acquired exclusive import and sales rights for the Belgian men's brand "LES HOMMES" and its contemporary line "LES HOMMES URBAN" in the Japanese market. Sales will begin through Sète À Itte starting with the Spring/Summer 2015 season.

The designer duo Tom Notte and Bart Vandebosch, both graduates of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium, who serve as designers for LES HOMMES, highly praised ITOCHU's track record and expertise in brand business in the Japanese market, leading to the signing of this agreement. Going forward, ITOCHU will further strengthen the worldview of LES HOMMES as a full-fledged men's designer brand, while also beginning full-scale development of LES HOMMES URBAN, which will be introduced to Japan for the first time. The brand will be sold primarily at department stores, high-end select shops, and specialty stores nationwide, with the goal of achieving sales of 800 million yen on a retail price basis within three years. Founded in 2002, Les Hommes is a brand that strikes a perfect balance between opposing elements such as modern and classic, orthodox and avant-garde. The contemporary line Les Hommes Urban was added in Spring/Summer 2014, and the brand is currently available in around 150 select shops and department stores around the world, including flagship stores in Antwerp and Milan.
