Givenchy is pleased to unveil its Spring/Summer 2022 global advertising campaign, produced by Creative Director Matthew M. Williams and photographed by Korean-born German photographer Heji Shin. This marks Heji Shin's second time working on a Givenchy campaign.

In a series of eye-catching images in color and black and white, the campaign captures the energy of the Spring/Summer 2022 ready-to-wear collection and Givenchy's exciting collaboration with American artist Josh Smith, whose distinctive, colorful freestyle paintings bring a subversive feel to the campaign's visuals. Kendall Jenner returns to the Spring/Summer 2022 campaign, appearing alongside other iconic models in key looks and carrying Givenchy's statement handbag, the Kenny, this season. Featuring supple materials and intricate construction, the Kenny drawstring bag is the perfect day-to-night piece. Hand-gathered draping and embellishments evoke Givenchy's haute couture savoir-faire, while the signature G-cube element elevates the bag to a contemporary level, reflecting Matthew M. Williams' vision for Givenchy.

Givenchy's Spring/Summer 2022 women's and men's ready-to-wear collections bridge the gap between the classic, the innovative and the practical, exploring the tension between luxury and restraint, and between tradition and modernity. Sharp-cut suiting, sculptural peplums, rust-coloured knit mini dresses and fringed party tops – each unique in their own way – share a common thread of free-flowing embellishments and bold colours. Men's styles include bold shoulder tailoring, hoodies, and artistically distressed jeans, all paired with bold accessories such as the lime green "G Zip" duffel bag, bleached ceramic bottle-shaped shoulder accessories, and "Monumental Mallow" footwear. Many pieces in the collection are full of energy, featuring prints, patterns, and Josh Smith's signature artwork.

In print, Josh Smith's seemingly improvised paintings add a dynamic touch to the visuals, elevating the ad's presence. A mixed-media video campaign, shot in Paris and Los Angeles, further reflects this artistic collaboration, showcasing evocative, fast-moving montages of models wearing key looks and accessories from the Spring/Summer 2022 collection, strolling through gardens, picking roses, and posing for close-ups.

Givenchy's Spring/Summer 2022 collection will be available in stores and online on February 18, 2022.

"It was an incredible pleasure to collaborate so closely on all aspects of this collection, including the campaign, with Josh, whose style and free-spirited outlook I have long admired. To me, his artistic vision represents Givenchy's contemporary values, and I'm incredibly grateful that Josh allowed me, and so many others in this campaign, to truly enter and explore his world."
