London-based shoe brand F-TROUPE will hold its first-ever trunk show in Japan for its Spring/Summer 2017 collection at the Shibuya select shop DESPERADO (1F Shibuya Sakuragaoka Building, 4-23 Sakuragaoka-cho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) from February 10th to 19th. F-TROUPE was founded in 2003 by self-taught shoe designer Mick Wheel. The brand's edgy, relaxed designs, born from a free-spirited approach, range from unisex brogues and sneakers to girly sandals and tomboy-style boots, and have captivated fans worldwide since their debut. In the US, F-TROUPE's brands are beloved by young celebrities such as Chloë Sevigny, Mischa Barton, and Kristen Stewart, as well as leading British fashion icons such as Lily Allen and Keira Knightley.
At this trunk show, displays will be like those in a London store, and when the designer visits, customers can enjoy shopping while enjoying an English cream tea with scones and biscuits. Items not available in Japan will also be available, and purchasers will receive an original eco-bag that is only available at the London store as a gift.
F. Troop items will go on sale from 6pm on February 10th, the first day of the event, and at the same time there will also be a reception party and autograph session with designer Mick, open to the public. The designer is also scheduled to visit the store on the 11th and 12th from 1pm to 6pm.
