OFF-WHITE c/o VIRGIL ABLOH held their Fall/Winter 2017-18 collection show at UNESCO Headquarters. The collection was titled "Seeing Things." This season, graphics created in collaboration with A(R)T DAD LLC were particularly prominent. The gold leaf accessories, created by London-based Duffy, served as accents, echoing the fallen leaves scattered across the runway. The velvet shoes in collaboration with Timberland are also sure to garner attention. While the collection featured sporty and casual pieces, as befits the brand that created the "luxury street" category, the pieces, while appearing streetwear, actually utilized luxurious materials. A checkered blouson jacket was actually a patchwork of mouton, while the long mohair knitwear was entirely woven with jacquard, rather than printed. Embroidery was also used extensively in various details. The designer's strong commitment was evident throughout the collection. Designed in the US and produced in Italy, the collection exuded a unique wave of style, born from the fusion of American graphic culture and Italian craftsmanship.
