Japan's largest COS store opens on Ginza Marronnier Street, offering a full collection

Feb 15, 2017

COS will open its third store in Japan, its largest in the country, on Ginza Marronnier Street. The store's exterior, based on a modern transformation concept, features an arched entrance inspired by Japanese gates. The facade is covered in corrugated boards, inspired by Brutalist architecture, creating a sense of texture and depth. The window layout also features a distinctive design. The two-floor, 558-square-meter store will carry the full women's, men's, and children's collections. Marie Honda, COS Brand Director, said of the store, "Tokyo is an exciting city, and a constant source of inspiration for the COS design team. We were blessed with the opportunity to combine the COS design philosophy with the city's unique, historic architecture. We are thrilled to open a new store in Japan and hope our customers enjoy our new Ginza store."
