"THE MOTT HOUSE TOKYO/VEIN" (3-27-8 Sendagaya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), a select shop carrying up-and-coming New York brands, opened in Sendagaya, Tokyo on November 26th.

Based on the concept of "connecting the two cities of New York and Tokyo," the shop brings together designer brands active mainly in New York, from clothing to shoes, bags, jewelry, and interior goods. Also opening in the entrance space is VEIN, a flower shop launched this year by Kaori Yamaguchi, former manager of THE LITTLE SHOP OF FLOWERS, a flower shop in Harajuku. VEIN offers flower arrangements tailored to the individual needs of each customer, from single flowers to bouquets and swags. For men, the store carries ALEX CRANE, which designs everyday accessories such as caps, and ALEX MILL x MISTER MORT, a collaboration between designer Alex Drexler, whose father is the founder of J.CREW, and street fashion genius Mordecai Rupinstein. For women, the store carries brands such as AK STUDIO, which handles handmade products in Portland, AVO, which offers items made from raw leather and hand-dyed, knitwear brand KORDAL, LIBERTY WE TRUST, which offers shirt dresses and separates in bold materials and colors, jewelry brand NETTIE KENT JEWELRY, and sandal brand PAM LEFT PAM RIGHT.
