The LVMH Group announced the establishment of a new facility that will become the hub of its cosmetics business. It will be one of France's largest fragrance and cosmetics laboratories, utilizing cutting-edge technology to conduct research and production for Parfums Christian Dior, Guerlain, Parfums Givenchy, and Fresh.
The facility, named "Helios," meaning "sun" in Greek, is located in Saint-Jean-de-Braye, France, on the site of a former Parfums Christian Dior research facility. It will employ 250 researchers, working in more than 20 fields of expertise, including molecular and cell biology, physical chemistry, ethnobotany, sensory analysis, formulation, toxicology, and histology.
LVMH's research group has previously conducted research in partnership with numerous national and international public institutions and companies. Next year, we plan to partner with the University of Orleans in France.
