Keio Corporation, currently in the midst of rebuilding the Kichijoji Station building on the Inokashira Line, will open a new shopping complex called "KiraRina Kichijoji" in the spring of 2014. Based on the concept of "My Favorite Place, Where You Can Discover Various Sides of Me," the facility targets women in their 30s who value their personal values. It aims to be a casual space that can be used for various occasions, such as after work or in between housework and childcare. The name "KiraRina Kichijoji" reflects the desire for it to be a bright and cheerful place where people can discover many dazzling things and experiences that will make them shine. The facility spans two basement floors and nine aboveground, offering a selection of fashion, organic cosmetics, and lifestyle goods not often found in Kichijoji. Cafes throughout the building and a rooftop garden offer relaxing spaces between shopping. The first basement floor will feature "Food Parc," a food floor focused on quality and novelty, while also catering to everyday needs.
