Bar Zingaro, the first cafe produced by Takashi Murakami, has opened on the second floor of Nakano Broadway. Bar Zingaro's theme is based on three pillars: coffee, cocktails, and art. The cafe features artwork by owner Takashi Murakami, as well as artwork selected by him. Currently on display are works by ceramic artists Yuji Ueda, Otani Workshop, and Koji Kumagai, who will be holding a three-person exhibition at Oz Zingaro on the fourth floor of Nakano Broadway starting on the 22nd. The interior was designed by Fuglen, a globally renowned cafe chain with its flagship store in Oslo, Norway, and a branch in Tokyo. In addition to a cafe menu centered around coffee and espresso, the cafe also offers a selection of cocktails, beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages. Light snacks like bread and cakes are also available.
In the future, the plan is to develop it into a communication space and event space that connects the four galleries currently operating within Nakano Broadway: Kaikai Zingaro, Hidari Zingaro, pixiv Zingaro, and Oz Zingaro.
