A pop-up event featuring Gucci's 2014 Cruise Collection began on December 18th in the handbag promotion space on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building. It will run until January 7th, 2014. The event will feature gift items such as new colors of the Bamboo Shopper featuring Gucci's iconic bamboo handle, the new Interlocking Tote, and leather goods from the Betty collection featuring a heartbeat print. The popular Soho series will also feature new enamel colors and a special holiday season gold gradient color. A mini version of the collection will also debut. The Soho series, which debuted in the 2012 Cruise Collection and features Gucci's iconic Interlocking G, has been a bestseller since its debut. To coincide with the event, a mini metallic gray Soho will be available exclusively at Isetan (149,100 yen).

From the 25th, a custom-made event will be held at the Gucci workshop in Florence, Italy, where artisans who have inherited traditional techniques will be able to create custom-made items. Gucci's iconic bags, "New Bamboo" (3 sizes), "New Jackie" (2 sizes), and "Stirrup" (1 size), will be available in a choice of alligator (36 colors) or ostrich (22 colors). Prices start from 741,300 yen. During the event, customers will also be able to order wallets made from the same materials as the handbags. Customers can choose from a zip-around wallet with a tassel, or a continental wallet in "Bamboo" or "Stirrup."
