To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic "Greyhound" logo, Trussardi has released the animated short film "SKY WATCHER." The approximately two-minute film is set in Milan, a city closely associated with Trussardi. It was shot at iconic locations in the city, from the Duomo to the Pomodoro architecture and Navigli. The opening scene shows the interior of the brand's flagship store in Piazza della Scala, with a stone being hurled from the Duomo. After the store manager closes the store, the starry sky lights up and the constellation Lepus descends to earth. The bronze greyhound statue and the rabbit then leap out of their original location and run around Milan, playing hide-and-seek until sunrise.
Commemorative events were held in Tokyo and Milan, with the film's world premiere in Tokyo, several hours before its Milan debut. Creative director Gaia Trussardi also visited Japan, along with film director James Lima and Japanese illustrator Yuko Shimizu. Steve Mackey and Elli-Rose, original members of the rock band Pulp, who composed the short film's soundtrack, DJed.
