The theme of the Family Mall is "three generations of parents and children, centered around kids." Approximately 80 stores offer fun experiences for the whole family, including a work experience theme park, an entertainment museum, and a manufacturer's antenna shop.
The first floor, known as the "Family Fashion & Lifestyle Floor," is home to Miraiya Bookstore's new interactive kids' zone, "Mirai-ya no Mori." The zone is divided into four "children's houses" based on children's interests: "Famous Picture Book Museum," "Children's Science," "Children's Atelier," and "Children's Kitchen." The "Children's Self-Checkout" area features self-checkouts, allowing children to try cash registers for themselves. A concierge is always on hand to recommend picture books and gifts, and workshops and interactive events are held every weekend. Also on this floor are Daiso's trendy general goods shop, "papipupePOKKE," and Zoff Marche, a new store by eyewear brand Zoff where families can enjoy choosing glasses. On the second floor, the "Kids Fashion & Lifestyle" floor, AEON's largest children's goods zone, "Kids Republic," is located. Fashion, toys, stationery, and more are all gathered together. Next door is "Molly Fantasy," an indoor amusement park for children 12 and under. It features cutting-edge gaming equipment. When you hold a coloring book of the character Lala up to a dedicated monitor, a 3D Lala appears and dances on the screen. The Baby & Kids Casual Zone features a lineup of approximately 20 specialty stores, including "HYSTERIC MINI" and "Barbie/JILL STUART NEW YORK." Ribbon Hakka Kids, a select shop opening its first store in Chiba Prefecture, also features a cafe, "Cafe R," perfect for parents and children. The third floor is the family mall's biggest attraction, a collection of entertainment spots for the whole family to enjoy. Kandu, Japan's first work experience theme park, features venues offering approximately 35 different job experiences, including those at police, airlines, banks, and radio stations, as well as a restaurant with approximately 530 seats for families to enjoy. This theme park is perfect for families of all ages. Toei Hero World, an interactive entertainment museum showcasing Toei's special effects heroes, features attractions where visitors can become a special effects hero. The exhibit features suits and props used in the films, and there's a cafe serving hero-themed food. It's a fun experience for both children and adult fans. Also featured is Bakauke Circus, Kuriyama Beika's first hands-on antenna shop, where visitors can create their own original Bakauke. Gochisou Park, a food court with approximately 600 seats, features eight restaurants, including Marugame Seimen's newest establishment, MARCO'S Kitchen, making its debut. The expansive rooftop park, "Sky Park," also has a stage for small events, a fountain, and a beach where you can splash around in water.
(In 4/5, we'll introduce "Active Mall," which caters to all kinds of sports needs.)
