The first floor's gourmet zone, "Gourme-guri," features 25 restaurants and eat-in areas. These include first-time "manufacturer concept shops" like Kirin Smile Factory from the Kirin Group, Megmilk Snow Brand's Loppy Park (6PPARK), and Calbee's Calbee Plus. The second floor's restaurant zone, "Grand Diners," features 14 restaurants, including eight new to Chiba Prefecture, including Gyutan Charcoal Grill Rikyu, Tempura Shinjuku Tsunahachi, and Soup Stock Tokyo's new business, 100 Spoons. The third floor's "LIVE KITCHEN" intentionally integrates the restaurant and seating area, allowing customers to experience the excitement and live cooking in the kitchen. Offering a lineup of 18 carefully selected gourmet dishes, the relaxing space offers 1,300 seats. With a bar counter, this is truly a food court for adults. Additionally, the new "Cool Japan"-themed concept zone, "JAPAN POP JUNGLE," will bring together Japan's most iconic pop culture offerings, including a Gundam Cafe, a Railway Cafe, and COSPA AJIA, a character goods store.
The complex will also feature one of its most anticipated attractions: the "Next Generation Entertainment Zone," showcasing culture and the arts. The new zone will feature the "Yoshimoto Makuhari AEON Mall Theater," a full-scale entertainment venue showcasing not only comedy but also dance performances, idol shows, and cultural classes run by comedians. The adjacent AEON Cinema will be the first in Chiba Prefecture to feature "D-BOX," a system of seats that move in sync with the movie scenes.
The Grand Mall also features numerous event spaces, including the "Grand Court," "AEON Court," and "Hobby Court" in the atrium on the first floor, and the multipurpose "AEON Hall" on the third floor. The outdoor space has also been carefully designed, with the Grand Square, a large event space that can accommodate 1,000 people, the Green Walk, a promenade lined with trees, the Wind Hill, a three-dimensional garden overseen by garden designer Kazuyuki Ishihara, and the Grand Terrace on the fourth floor, which offers a panoramic view of Tokyo Bay and where you can enjoy summer fireworks. As Makuhari is also the location of many international events, two prayer rooms have been prepared in consideration of foreign visitors.
