
The Aoyama Sake Flea, an event featuring a sake tasting of approximately 100 varieties and local foods from around Japan, will be held on April 22nd and 23rd in the courtyard of the United Nations University in Aoyama, Tokyo.
The event will feature approximately 100 varieties of sake from 25 breweries across Japan, along with restaurants offering reimagined local dishes from around Japan, such as miso stews and chicken tempura, perfectly paired with the drinks.
Tickets for the sake tasting starter set (1,500 yen including tax) are available on the day and include one original sake cup and six sake tasting tickets. Additional tickets can be purchased for 1,000 yen for a set of five.
Advance tickets are also available for those who want to drink a lot or share with family and friends. The "Sake Lover" set (4,000 yen including tax) includes one original sake cup and 20 tickets, the "Drinker" set (6,000 yen including tax) includes two original sake cups and 30 tickets, and the "Bottomless Drinker" set (7,500 yen including tax) includes two original sake cups and 40 tickets. In addition, on April 22nd, SHAMI-RAGA will perform a shamisen and fuyara performance, and on the 23rd, a collaboration between Jordan Scott and Ryo will express Japanese traditions in a new way. Also on both days, you can enjoy a DJ set by HAPPFAT, a chopstick piano performance by Sami Elu, and a live calligraphy performance by calligrapher Tanaka Zhou.
