Mizuno opens new shop with running station and cafe in Harajuku

Jan 13, 2014

In mid-March, Mizuno will open a new directly managed store, "NOHARA BY MIZUNO," (2nd floor, 6-31-15 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo). It will be an antenna shop that will not only sell merchandise but also feature a cafe, running station, and fitness studio. The concept is "Sports Living Room." The name "NOHARA" comes from the desire to create a casual gathering place for people who enjoy sports and fashion. The approximately 433-square-meter store will sell the latest items, including sportswear and shoes, and will also feature a running station where customers can shower and touch up their makeup. The store will offer a wide selection of beauty appliances and deodorants, aiming to create a space that customers will want to stop by after playing sports in nearby Yoyogi Park. The store will also feature a cafe serving healthy food and a fitness studio offering yoga and running clinics. The store's interior design was handled by KATAYAMA DESIGN LAB, a training project for the next generation of interior designers. Masamichi Katayama, CEO of Wonderwall and professor at Musashino Art University, will serve as supervisor.
