New eyewear by Saint Laurent and Hedi released by Safilo

Italian luxury eyewear manufacturer Safilo has announced a new frame collection for Saint Laurent. Sales will begin on August 28th at the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building's 7th floor eyewear salon, department store eyewear salons and eyewear specialty stores nationwide, and elsewhere. Under the direction of Hedi Slimane, the logo on the temples has been redesigned for this collection. The collection includes six models: CLASSIC 114/J, CLASSIC 15/J, CLASSIC 16/J, YVES 4/J, YVES 5/J, and YVES 6/J, each available in three colors. All are unisex and priced at ¥35,700 each. Safilo was founded in Italy in 1934. In addition to its own brand, the company has signed licensing agreements with numerous luxury brands, including Dior, Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen, Gucci, and Bottega Veneta. In June of this year, the company announced a long-term licensing agreement with Fendi.
