Six retail stores and one seasonal shop will open at the new facility "Nishiguchi Lumine," which will open for a limited time from March 1st at the west exit of Yokohama Station. In line with the facility's concept of "We Love (heart mark) YOKOHAMA - a stage where people who love their hometown gather and liven up the city," each shop will sell original products in collaboration with artists and brands with ties to Yokohama. "THE POP by JUN," the first concept shop produced by JUN, will change the brands it carries approximately every three months, starting with "MAISON KITSUNE." LA-based casual lifestyle select shop "Planet blue world" will release an Ortega print tube dress (15,750 yen) to commemorate its opening. STYLE COUNSEL, which stocks brands centered around American casual wear, will be selling two limited-edition collaboration T-shirts (5,145 yen) with sportswear shop VELVA SHEEN and Kamakura-born photographer Miura Yasuma. DIESEL will offer limited-edition blue and white tote bags (7,350 yen). URBAN RESEARCH Make Store, which sells original goods centered around best-selling items from each URBAN RESEARCH brand, will offer a planter bag (2,940 yen) made to order from Yokohama-based brand Yokohama Canvas Bags. Lifestyle shop Everyday by Collex Inn will be releasing a silk scarf ribbon (3,150 yen) made with fabric from silk product brand Yokohama Scarf. The first of these seasonal shops, which will change stores approximately every month, will be "Dainipponichi by Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten." Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten, a linen textile store founded in Nara in 1716, is collaborating with "KOKO LUMINE," a project promoting Japanese craftsmanship. They will be releasing "Yokohama Dishcloths" (420 yen), made from mosquito net fabric, a specialty of Nara, and featuring motifs associated with Yokohama. The opening commemorative visuals were also created by photographer Mika Ninagawa, who also worked on the creation of the entire Lumine seasonal visuals. The locations chosen for the shoot include famous landmarks representing the region, such as Daikoku Pier and Yokohama Bay Bridge. Original shoppers and postcards featuring these visuals will be given away to visitors on March 1st.
