Diesel will release its new hero sneaker, "THE PROTOTYPE," on December 6th. It will also feature Diesel's first-ever limited-edition NFT, created by digital fashion house The Fabricant.
"PROTOTYPE" is an all-new, innovative sneaker design created by Creative Director Glenn Martens, signaling the future direction of Diesel footwear. Named "the beginning of something new," the model pushes the boundaries of athletic footwear design, redefining convention in every component, aesthetic, and technical aspect.
This graphic-inspired sneaker, featuring multiple rubber straps and asymmetrical lacing, was first unveiled on the Spring/Summer 2022 runway. It features a wrap-around bias-positioned rubber strap, off-center lace-up closure, and molded rubber overlays on the industrial outsole and upper.
The limited-edition white and black colorway, unveiled on the Spring/Summer 2022 runway, will be available at major Diesel stores and the official Diesel online store from December 6, 2021. Other colorways will be available in 2022.
