Prada will release its new women's fragrance, Prada Candy L'eau Eau de Toilette (30ml/5,880 yen, 50ml/8,400 yen, 80ml/12,705 yen), on the 10th. Daniela Andrier, who has worked on numerous fragrances including Gucci's ENVY FOR MEN, is in charge of creating the fragrance, following on from Prada Candy, which was released in 2011. The fragrance begins with citrus notes of Sicilian orange and organic lemon, and is centered around white musk, benzoin, and caramel, expressing the optimistic worldview of Prada's new feminine identity, Candy. The packaging and box use nude and gold colors, and the Prada logo appears on the bottle strap.
The image model is French actress Lea Seydoux, who played the heroine in the film "Farewell to Marie Antoinette." The campaign film, directed by Roman Coppola and Wesley Anderson, who also produced "The Darjeeling Limited" and "Moonrise Kingdom," is set in Paris and depicts a strange love triangle surrounding Candy, the heroine played by Lea.
