Film director Wesley Anderson was born in the United States on May 1, 1969. He made his directorial debut with "Anthony's Motel" in 1996. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for "The Royal Tenenbaums" in 2001 and "Moonrise Kingdom" in 2012. "Moonrise Kingdom" attracted attention for its cute art and costumes, and in Japan it was promoted in collaboration with fashion brand MUVEIL and select shops EDIFICE and EDIT.FOR LULU. Furthermore, in April of this year, a short film for Prada's new fragrance, Prada Candy L'eau, which he worked on with Roman Coppola, was released.
