To celebrate A.P.C.'s 30th anniversary in the Spring/Summer 2017 season, the brand will be holding "A.P.C RAW POWER" from April 12th to 18th at the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building, 1st floor promotion area.
The brand launched as a men's brand in 1987. During this event, which commemorates its 30th anniversary in 2017, a number of limited-edition items using the brand's signature RAW DENIM will be available under the theme of "RAW = unprocessed." To commemorate the 30th anniversary, a limited run of 30 pairs of "SPECIAL BUTLER DENIM" (50,000 yen), an original painted denim by the brand's founder and designer Jean Touitou, will be sold. Additionally, the "DENIM TOTE BAG" (9,000 yen), made from medium-ounce (12oz) Japanese denim with a unique broken twill weave, will be available for pre-sale at the event. Other limited edition items from the Spring 2017 collection include the "T-SHIRTS POCKET" (9,000 yen), "VEST JEAN WORK" (28,000 yen), "PETIT NEW STANDARD" (21,000 yen), and "CASQUETTE LOUIS" (15,000 yen), which has the A.P.C. logo embroidered on the adjuster. Visitors will be greeted in a special space decorated with the same RAW theme as the presentation in Paris.
