A.P.C. has released the quilt collection "A.P.C. QUITLS ROUND 12."
The A.P.C. quilt collection began in 2010 when creative director Jean Touitou asked designer Jessica Ogden to create a quilt using fabrics left in the A.P.C. warehouse. Over the past 11 quilts, various quilts have been created using A.P.C.'s old fabrics.
This marks the 12th collaboration and marks the first time that new textiles have been used. The quilt, which uses the two colors red and white, is based on the Russian Revolution, when the revolutionary Red Army and the counter-revolutionary White Army fought each other. The names of the items all use words related to the White Army (Russian Imperial Army), such as "Denikine" (the name of a general in the Russian Imperial Army) and "Anastasia" (the daughter of Russian Emperor Nicholas II). The items are available at Daikanyama FEMME, the Aoyama store, the Kobe store, and the official online store.
The visuals were also photographed by Alfredo Piola in Jamaica, in the town where Jessica Ogden was born.
