Kabuki star Ainosuke Kataoka was appointed as the fragrance ambassador for 2013. He will promote the fragrance's appeal through talk shows and other events.

Kataoka auditioned for Shochiku Entertainment as a child actor and began appearing on television and in popular theater at the age of five. In 1981, he became a trainee of the 13th Kataoka Nizaemon, taking the name Kataoka Chiyomaru, and made his stage debut as a sword bearer in the Kyoto Minamiza production of "Kanjincho." In 1992, he was adopted by Kataoka Hidetaro and took the name Kataoka Ainosuke VI in the Osaka Nakaza production of "Kanjincho." In 1994, he was promoted to a master and in 2008 assumed the title of 4th head of the Kamigata dance Umemoto school. He has also appeared in films and TV dramas, and is affectionately known as "Lovelin." The fragrance ambassador activity was started by Bluebell Japan as part of a campaign to promote "Perfume Day" (October 1st), which was established by the Japan Fragrance Association in 2010. Previous ambassadors include actress Chikako Kaku and former Pink Lady member Keiko Masuda.
