May 24, 2013

The HUB, Asia's first invitation-only apparel exhibition, will be held in Hong Kong from August 28th to 30th.

The exhibition is held twice a year within the international exhibition AsiaWorld Expo. More than 100 fashion brands doing business in Asia will gather from around the world, and approximately 3,000 visitors, including retailers and wholesalers, are expected to attend.

The venue covers an area of approximately 5,500 square meters and is composed of four sections. The "Heritage" section will feature British brands such as Barbour, John Smedley, and The Duffer of St. George, as well as American brand Bailey of Hollywood.

Indigo will feature denim brands such as Japan's Evisu and Studio d'Artisan, and Canada's United Stock Dry Goods. Additionally, Street will feature Y-3, Hong Kong's Knowledge, and the US's Haerfest, while Contemporary will feature Norway's Swims, Australia's Crumpler, the UK's Orlebar Brown, and Hong Kong's Johanna Ho.

The Hub was founded by Richard Hobbs and Peter Caplowe, who have experience working with denim and sportswear brands. It receives support from government and private organizations in Hong Kong and the UK, and has numerous connections with various sectors of the Asian apparel industry.

In addition, a variety of programs are prepared during the event, allowing both exhibitors and visitors to participate in seminars and presentations on retail trends, marketing, business logistics, and more.
