Toraya Cafe An Stand Shinjuku will be selling its "An Paste Shaved Ice" during the Golden Week holidays and holding an event to celebrate its first anniversary.

The "An Paste Shaved Ice" available from May 15th includes three varieties: "An Paste Shaved Ice [Matcha]," made with generous amounts of Kyoto matcha, garnished with a bitter matcha syrup and a rich bean paste paste [Ogura An]; "An Paste Shaved Ice [Condensed Milk]" (650 yen each), which combines smooth, homemade condensed milk slowly kneaded over low heat with "Koshian" bean paste; and "An Paste Shaved Ice [Matcha Condensed Milk]" (750 yen).

The store will also be holding a portrait drawing event, "Ichigo Ichie," to celebrate its first anniversary on April 15th from 10:00 AM to 9:30 PM. Holiday, a unit founded by art director Hayato Horide and chef Misa Horide, will dress up as strawberries with the feeling of a once-in-a-lifetime encounter and will draw a portrait using just a marker for purchasers of the Ankoppe [Strawberry] drink set.
