Easter sweets from Dominique Ansel Bakery, including "Takamakake Gohan (TKG)" and "Sumo Eggs"!

Apr 7, 2017

DOMINIQUE ANSEL BAKERY is offering a limited-time Easter menu from April 5th to 16th.

This time, the menu includes the Japanese-style "Sumo Egg" (1,800 yen), a chocolate egg inspired by the popular sumo wrestler both in Japan and overseas, filled with homemade matcha marshmallows; the "Geisha Egg" (1,800 yen), a chocolate egg wrapped in a beautiful kimono and filled with fluffy cherry blossom marshmallows; and the "TKG" (850 yen), inspired by "raw egg on rice," with fine coconut flakes representing rice, the yolk made of mango passion fruit jelly, and the egg white made of coconut lime jelly. All of the unique designs are available. Other sweets on offer include "Egg Moji" (1,500 yen), a fluffy marshmallow hidden inside a chocolate egg shell shaped like an emoji face; "Bunny Cookie" (280 yen), a sable cookie shaped like the Easter bunny; "Peep a boo" (6 pieces per box/2,800 yen), a marshmallow chick hatched from an egg shell and filled with bitter caramel sauce, making it a great gift; and "Bunny Religieuse" (680 yen), a seasonal limited edition sweet consisting of a two-tiered bunny-shaped cream puff filled with raspberry jam and milk chocolate.
