The Omotesando store of TAG Heuer, a Swiss luxury watchmaker founded in 1860, will reopen on the 12th. The store was designed by French architect Guénal Nicolas.
The interior features abundant warm wood. The floor is covered in silver-gray Arcelite, glass, and stainless steel. Next to the watch collection floor is a permanent corner for the lifestyle collection, featuring leather jackets and travel bags only available at the company's own stores, and the eyewear collection. Further back, a sofa space has been set up.
To coincide with the reopening, the "TAG Heuer Carrera 1887 Chronograph Fuji Speedway Limited Edition" (493,500 yen), a Japan-exclusive model of only 400 pieces, will be released early. The blue dial and passionate red accents are accented with the words "FUJI SPEEDWAY" at the 9 o'clock position. The sapphire crystal case back is engraved with Mount Fuji, the sun, and the Fuji Speedway circuit motif.
In addition, as part of the opening campaign, anyone who purchases a TAG Heuer watch between the 12th and 14th will receive a free bottle of Moët & Chandon champagne.
