Roberto Cavalli x Franck Muller unveil collaboration watch. Animal prints and more to come this fall

Jul 16, 2013

Fashion brand Roberto Cavalli and luxury watchmaker Franck Muller, who announced a partnership agreement in January last year, collaborated to unveil a watch collection during the Paris Haute Couture show. The two brands unveiled the Dual Masters collection, inspired by the octagonal shape of the Baptistery of San Giovanni in Florence, Italy, and the Signature Collection, featuring Cavalli's iconic designs. The Dual Masters cases are crafted from stainless steel or 18-karat pink gold set with diamonds and precious stones. The watches are hand-wound and measure 43mm for men and 40mm for women. The series also includes the Dual Masters Tourbillon, featuring a complex complication movement (priced from 2,700 to 130,000 euros). Limited to seven pieces, the 47mm case size is available.

The Signature Collection (priced from 1,200 to 2,000 euros) uses a Swiss quartz movement. It incorporates designs such as the brand's signature animal prints. The dials are PVD-coated or feature natural stones, and the straps are made of colorful leather, or steel and gold.

It will be available this fall at Roberto Cavalli flagship stores, Franck Muller retailers, and luxury watch shops around the world. The price and release date in Japan have yet to be determined.

Roberto Cavalli was founded in the early 1970s. It offers the flagship line "Roberto Cavalli" and the casual and contemporary line "Just Cavalli." Last year, it launched the "Roberto Cavalli Home" collection, which offers lifestyle goods such as furniture and textiles.
