Swedish fashion brand MONKI will open its third Japanese store in Makuhari, Chiba on December 20th.
The new store will be located on the second floor of the newly opened shopping mall, AEON MALL Makuhari New City (1-1 Toyosuna, Mihama-ku, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture). The approximately 300-square-meter store is themed around MONKI's latest store concept, "SEA OF SCALLOPS," and will feature the same gray and white color scheme as the Harajuku store.
MONKI, an H&M subsidiary, was founded in 2006. Currently, the brand operates over 70 stores in eight European countries, mainland China, and Hong Kong, and has an online store available in 18 European countries. This will be the brand's third Japanese store, following the Shinsaibashi store in Osaka and the Harajuku store in Tokyo.
