To commemorate this, an event was held in Japan on October 28th at Otowa-san Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto, with members of the press invited. At the event, the new 2021 tourbillon piece, the "Classic Tourbillon Extra-Plat Anniversary 5365", was announced. The new tourbillon combines Breguet's authentic design with understated elegance, making it a fitting watch for the 220th anniversary. Breguet named his invention "tourbillon," a term commonly used at the time in connection with astronomy.
