Diesel Black Gold's first men's collection since Andreas Melbostad took over as creative director will be unveiled at the 85th Pitti Immagine Uomo, the world's largest men's fashion trade fair. The fair will be held in Florence, Italy, from January 7th to 10th, 2014. Melbostad became the brand's women's creative director in October 2012. Since September of this year, he has been overseeing both the women's and men's lines. Like the Spring/Summer 2014 women's collection, the upcoming 2014-2015 Autumn/Winter collection will be rock-inspired. At the last Pitti show, held in June, Junichi Abe of the Japanese brand kolor showed as a guest designer. Additionally, Brazilian designer Barbara Casasola has been chosen as the special guest designer for Pitti W, the women's version of Pitti.
