Seven & i Holdings Co., Ltd. will open the Grand Tree Musashikosugi shopping complex near Musashikosugi Station in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, this fall. The address is 3-1135 Shinmaruko Higashi, Nakahara Ward, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. With a floor area of 37,000 square meters, the complex will be the largest in the region and will feature approximately 150 specialty stores, including some of the first in Japan or the prefecture, across fashion, food, general merchandise, and services. Seven & i Holdings' Ito-Yokado, Sogo & Seibu, Loft, and Akachan Honpo will also open new store formats. Aiming to create an "oasis for families in the city," the complex will also feature a rooftop park, rest areas, a baby room, and other amenities. Furthermore, to make customer life and shopping more convenient and enjoyable, Seven & i Holdings will maximize its "omni-channel" initiative, integrating the physical and online worlds to create a "new dimension" of stores.
The name Grand Tree was chosen with the idea of "being like a large, warm tree that grows and advances alongside our customers and the town." We aim to create a commercial facility filled with greenery that all residents can be proud to live in Musashi-Kosugi.
