Sogo & Seibu has introduced its first "Virtual Fitting Signage" utilizing Toppan Printing Co., Ltd.'s 3DCG technology. The signage, which allows customers to experience virtual fittings, is available for a limited time until March 23rd in a special space in the Avex Mode sales area on the fourth floor of Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store. Two 70-inch digital signage displays are connected to each other. After selecting their preferred outfits, a man and a woman can try on the items, which are then recreated in 3DCG on the signage. Five patterns of this spring's most recommended Avex outfits are available, including jackets, shirts, and pants for men and dresses, jackets, and pants for women. The clothes move three-dimensionally with the wearer's movements, allowing customers to enjoy views from the front, back, left, and right. By using the signage together, even on the women's floor, the man can quickly check how the items will look without feeling intimidated. After the experience, a printout of the outfits will be given to the couple. By scanning the two-dimensional barcode displayed there with your smartphone, you can access Seibu Sogo's shopping site "e. Department Store Avec Mode" and purchase the product directly.
