"Bread and Coffee in Ginza 2017," an event for bread and coffee lovers, will be held from April 19th to 25th at the Ginza Mitsukoshi 7th floor event hall.

This annual event brings together popular bakeries and famous roasters that always have long lines. This year's highlight is "365 Days," a bakery in Yoyogi Hachiman opened by innovative baker Akimasa Sugikubo. Approximately 20 kinds of breads will be available during the event, including the moist and chewy "100% Sonpurusan" (249 yen each, tax included), "Chocolat" (141 yen each, tax included), with diced chocolate kneaded into a chewy cocoa dough, and "Curry Bread" (270 yen each, tax included), made with minced pork and seven kinds of herbs and spices. The bread section will feature not only famous Tokyo shops but also famous shops from all over Japan, such as Gontran Cherrier, which has stores in Shibuya and Shinjuku, and L'Hospitalet in Fukuoka. Additionally, Portland-based donut shop Camden's Brewster Donuts, pizza maker Shimaoka's pizzeria Artaio, and the collaboration between popular shops, Hediard x Bigot, will also be present, providing an opportunity to taste breads from around the world. Additionally, limited-edition breads will be available, including "LeBRESSO BREAD" (1.5 loaves, ¥651 tax included) from LeBRESSO, with only 20 pieces available each day from 2 PM, and "Pain de Sange"'s "Skip Box Bread" (¥443 tax included) only available on April 19th, 21st, 24th, and 25th. In addition, in the coffee section, popular Central American specialty store Cafe Tenango will be selling "Blend Cafe Tenango" (100g/972 yen including tax), and Rokumei Coffee will be selling "Costa Rica Pastora Farm Golden Honey" (250g/1,800 yen including tax). Coffees from famous stores such as Amemeria Espresso and Maeda Coffee, which use beans certified by the Specialty Coffee Association of America, will also be available.

In addition, there will be an eat-in area, where you can enjoy the "29 (niku) Burger" (972 yen per portion, tax included) from 365 Days' sister store, 15°C, which is a hamburger made with a beef patty produced by Kichijoji's Nikuyama sandwiched between a 365 Days bun, as well as "Yuki no Shita"'s "Fermented Butter Pancakes" (756 yen, tax included) and "Fungo"'s filling "Honey Baked Ham Sandwich" (864 yen, tax included).

The event will end at 5pm on the final day. Eat-in hours are from 10:30am to 8pm each day (last orders at 7:30pm), but will also close at 5pm on the final day.
