Krispy Kreme Doughnuts will be selling doughnuts inspired by popular desserts from around the world for a limited time from May 21st to July 14th. The lineup includes six varieties inspired by Italian "Tiramisu," French "Crème Brûlée," British "Peach Melba," Brazilian "Passion Fruit," American "Cheesecake," and Japanese "Matcha." "Tiramisu" features a mascarpone filling and is topped with bitter coffee sauce and cocoa powder for a sophisticated taste. "Crème Brûlée" is rich custard cream topped with fragrant caramel sauce, and crispy caramel candy adds a textured accent. "Peach Melba" is a doughnut coated in raspberry sauce and peach puree nappage, featuring a gentle tartness. It is topped with roasted almonds and dried cranberries.
Passion fruit is blended with Alfonso, known as the king of mangoes, to create the "Mango Passion," a luxurious filling. The cheesecake is a cheese cream donut topped with plenty of lemon cream and graham cookies to create the "Lemon Cheesecake." The "Matcha Old Fashioned" allows you to enjoy the authentic aroma of matcha. (Only the "Matcha Old Fashioned" is regularly sold.)
The "World Dolce Box," an assortment of these six donuts, will be priced at 1,340 yen. Additionally, the "World Dolce Dozen," a set of 12 donuts including the popular "Original Glazed," will be released at the same time for 2,000 yen.
