"France Week," an event where visitors can experience French food, clothing, and shelter, will be held at Isetan Shinjuku from April 16th to 22nd. French-related items will be on display throughout the entire building during the event. A pop-up shop featuring clothing designed by PAPIER TIGRE Paris Tokyo, a Parisian creative group known for its geometric graphic paper products, will be open in the TOKYO Liberation Zone on the second floor of the main building. Additionally, the International Creators section on the second floor of the Men's Building will be promoting A.P.C., showcasing denim items with a "resort pop" theme. The accessories corner on the first floor of the main building will display brooches and earrings from Cecile & Jeanne, made in an atelier in Paris, and the entire building will be showcasing French items.
In terms of food, the "France Exhibition" will be held from the 16th to the 21st in the event hall on the sixth floor of the main building, focusing on the Alsace region in northeastern France. Sweets and home-cooked meals from Alsace, with its fairy-tale-like townscape, will be available.
One standout shop is "Negel," a prepared food and confectionery store founded in 1927 in Strasbourg, the heart of Alsace. Shigekatsu Kimura, who trained at the store for three years, will be visiting the store during the period and will be selling items such as "Tarte Onion" (1,300 yen), a taste of Alsace home cooking, and "Toi d'Alsace" (445 yen), a sweet that means "Roof of Alsace." The eat-in corner will also feature products that will allow you to experience France through taste, such as a galette (2,000 yen) made with foie gras from Feinel, a restaurant founded in Strasbourg, Alsace, a region known for its foie gras.
