The travel guide "kotorippu" and Isetan Shinjuku have collaborated to offer "Golden Week at Isetan x kotorippu," a project offering Golden Week suggestions on each floor of the store. The project runs until May 6th. The kotorippu editorial team walked through the Isetan store, allowing visitors to enjoy the workshops and events held there during the period as if they were on a journey. The special website, "GW@ISETAN x kotorippu," is available on smartphones so that customers can browse the site while walking around the building. The "Exploring the Best Things from Japan" plan introduces recommended spots as you travel from the rooftop to the basement. It features Asahi Benzaiten, the goddess of fire prevention and business, located on the rooftop of the store, and Chaya Macrobiotic Restaurant, located on the 7th floor of the main building and facing the Japanese garden. The Japanese and Western tableware section in West Park on the 5th floor of the main building offers a service where you can have your tableware wrapped in a furoshiki cloth along with your purchase. As souvenirs from Isetan, the campaign features an assortment of Mamegen sachets in a specially designed box featuring the new tartan pattern, available at the Isetan Tartan TEMIYAGE Shop on the first basement floor of the main building, as well as original assortments of macarons from Patisserie Sadaharu Aoki. The campaign also introduces recommended spots for trips wearing fashions found at the store. For a greener experience, the campaign recommends Shinjuku/Sendagaya, both within walking distance of the store, and for a seaside experience, it recommends walking spots in Yokohama, easily accessible via the Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line, which passes through Shinjuku-Sanchome Station, the store's closest station. A member of the Isetan Mitsukoshi PR Department, who conceived the campaign, said, "We came up with the idea of collaborating with this magazine, which is popular among women, to promote shopping at Isetan Shinjuku as a 'journey.' We also proposed the project to Kotorippu, hoping to suggest fashion that will help people enjoy their Golden Week trip."
