In this series, we introduce spring/summer makeup tips from the 2014 Spring/Summer collection runway. Our third installment is ALEXANDER WANG from New York. The brand's signature minimalist, structured style was enhanced with simple makeup that brought out natural beauty. "It's simple and fresh, with a focus on skincare—it's truly low beauty," explains lead artist Diane Kendal of NARS. After thoroughly moisturizing her skin, she used concealer to create a base that brought out the natural beauty of her skin. She didn't use mascara, but simply curled her lashes with an eyelash curler. Her eyebrows were also styled with clear brow mascara. She didn't style her hair too much, giving it a fresh, washed-out look. What sets this look apart from a bare-faced look is the subtle adjustments she made to the details, such as the brows, which balance the overall look while highlighting her natural beauty.
Makeup items used include NARSskin Aqua Gel Luminous Stick Oil-Free Moisturizer, Concealer Stick, and Brow Gel (all from NARS).
