A guide to Michael Kors' recommended Tokyo shops with a popular blogger

Apr 15, 2014

The "Travel Guide" section of the Michael Kors official website has released a guide to Tokyo, along with other cities such as Stockholm, Paris, and London.

The section features a video showcasing designer Michael Kors' recommended spots in Tokyo. The video features Aimee Song, an internationally active blogger based in Los Angeles, showing off her own Michael Kors style while strolling around Tokyo.

Starting with Sensoji Temple, the video covers tourist spots, shopping spots, and restaurants, including Mori Art Museum, Ueno Park, Shinjuku Takashimaya's basement food court, and Dover Street Market Ginza. Chopsticks are recommended as a souvenir, and the Park Hyatt Tokyo, a favorite hotel of celebrities around the world, is also recommended.

Michael says about Tokyo, "I love the exciting energy of this city and its spirit of always taking on new challenges. The women of this city enjoy fashion without fear of risks, yet at the same time value traditional culture. I think it's a wonderful city where you can experience two worlds, old and new, at the same time."
